I’m immensely grateful for all of the feedback I’ve received about my titles, and I’ve been listening. I just uploaded a deeper edit of the manuscript for Vampires Wear Shades and hopefully cleaned it up with a more professional shine.
When I launched VWS a couple years ago, I was inexperienced and admittedly in a hurry. Now, applying lessons learned, I aim to correct any of those deficiencies to offer a product worthy of your time and money.
I’ve been working on the sequel, Vampires Don’t Smoke, and hope to have it out within a month or two. I say hope because I’m still JV in the book writing game and have to work a day job which can be demanding sometimes. I’ve been at it for a couple years, though, so it should be a good read and satisfying story.
Something else I’ll be releasing in 2023 is a military sci-fi series of three books to start with: Strange Tales of the Paranormal Joint Command. These stories are all set in the same universe but center on different characters with guest appearances by the others. The working titles so far:
Memoir of a Time Clerk– The story of a military supply clerk who discovers he can travel through time to procure ANYTHING. As his reputation as the go-to supply depot grows, unintended consequences arise as a result of his temporal activities. Chaos ensues….
PJoC: Origins– Colonel Hamm Patrick witnesses the alien abduction of his wife and daughters and will stop at nothing to find them. His search will result in the creation of the most secretive and important covert agency in all of human history….
Mac Spurlock: Interstellar Contractor– The sudden death of Mac Spurlock’s wife opens a door through which there is no going back. He also ruins a planet….
Lastly– and if I can get to it– I’ll be posting a series on Kindle Vella, just to see how that goes.
